Where rsyslog keeps its logs
rsyslog logs to /var/log/syslog on Linux. 4 other Linux log locations are recorded below, including paths for Debian/Ubuntu and RHEL/Fedora.
Paths are printed exactly as rsyslog writes them. Environment variables like %LOCALAPPDATA% and $XDG_STATE_HOME are never expanded, so a path can be pasted straight into a shell.
