Where IntelliJ IDEA keeps its logs
IntelliJ IDEA logs to %LOCALAPPDATA%\JetBrains\IntelliJIdea<version>\log\idea.log on Windows.
IntelliJ IDEA logs to ~/Library/Logs/JetBrains/IntelliJIdea<version>/idea.log on macOS.
Paths are printed exactly as IntelliJ IDEA writes them. Environment variables like %LOCALAPPDATA% and $XDG_STATE_HOME are never expanded, so a path can be pasted straight into a shell.
