Where Claude Desktop keeps its logs

Claude Desktop logs to %APPDATA%\Claude\logs\ on Windows.

Claude Desktop logs to ~/Library/Logs/Claude/ on macOS.

Paths are printed exactly as Claude Desktop writes them. Environment variables like %LOCALAPPDATA% and $XDG_STATE_HOME are never expanded, so a path can be pasted straight into a shell.
